Hi guys, Due to college regulations, the high-speed internet access point in your room will not be activated until you have registered with the college. At registration you will recieve your college username and password, which you can use to logon to the college network. Network Access Clinics will be provided to you at 6pm-8pm on the Wednesday and Thursday (23rd & 24th) of Fresher's week for assistance with connecting your PC/Mac to the college network. Until that point, free wireless internet will be provided by the JCR in Oldham house for those with laptops. Desktops may be available for use from time to time. A phone will also be made available for residents making landline calls to the US, UK and Ireland. If you would like to be able to call another country, please send the number and country code to

Hey Guys, If you're reading this it means you've applied for a place in Trinity Hall next year. Firstly congrats for getting in to Trinity itself! And for those of you who have now received a first-round place in Trinity Hall well done, you're in for a great year! The JCR (Junior Common Room) is kind of like a mini version of the Student's Union. Our sole purpose is to ensure everyone living in Halls can have an amazing time. We'll be running loads of nights out and parties for you, but we're not just about that. We'll be running loads of sports and music events for you to get involved in all during the year. And just like the Student's Union in College we have our own dedicated Welfare Officer to look out for you if you need any help, and our International Officer will be there for our many international students! Basically we're all about you enjoying your stay in Halls, and we'll be working hard to ensure you do! This site is currently a work in progress, but keep checking over the next few weeks as we'll have the full schedule of events lined up for you for Orientation Weekend (Friday 18th-Sunday 20th September) and Fresher's Week. If you're reading this and you haven't got a place yet don't be worrying, you still have a good chance of getting a place in the second round of offers. And if you don't get in then you can get yourself onto the waiting list, which is how I got in myself last year.
